Tele Atlas LBS Innovator Series Names Socialight’s Location-Based Social Media Platform as “Attendee Choice Awards” Winner

— Tele Atlas (FSE: TA6, EUNV: TA), a leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for navigation and location-based solutions, today announced Socialight (www.socialight.com) the winner of the second annual Tele Atlas Attendee Choice Awards at CES 2008. Based on the application usability, innovative use of map data and market potential of their LBS applications, three finalists were selected to demonstrate their new location-based solutions in the Tele Atlas booth at CES earlier this month. Visitors to the Tele Atlas booth cast ballots and SMS votes for their favorite finalists: JotYou, Smarter Agent and Socialight, with Socialight selected as this year’s winner.

Socialight’s location-based social media platform, supported by Autodesk® LocationLogic™ and Skyhook Wireless platforms, lets mobile phone users access and share local information, personal experiences and media from any source, including the community around them. Through the platform, users can connect with content and information relevant to their exact location, almost anywhere in the world.

The second annual “Attendee Choice Awards at CES” was part of the Tele Atlas LBS Innovators Series, an ongoing program held in conjunction with Tele Atlas DeveloperLinkSM to help foster innovation and enable application developers to increase their visibility, credibility and success with key participants in the industry including investors, carriers and technology providers.

As the grand prize winner, Socialight will be awarded $25,000 cash and a license to Tele Atlas map data valued at $50,000. As runners up, JotYou and Smarter Agent will each receive prizes of $10,000 cash and a license to Tele Atlas map data valued at $20,000.
